A local business solutions specialist has launched a brand new training academy and is looking for its first two students.
Salford-based NexSys (K3), which provides Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications to businesses throughout the UK and Europe, is looking for two young learners to join its maiden NexSys academy in January 2015. The year-long programme, which has been set up and funded independently by K3, is open to graduates from all disciplines, as well as people who have left education or are looking for a change of career path, and promises full time employment opportunities.
The Academy promises to teach all the business and technical skills required to enjoy a long and rewarding career in the technology industry, with a business that has 35 years’ experience behind it. It includes modules on data management and support, IT project management, customer service, marketing and more, with extensive SYSPRO ERP and Microsoft training also included.
Each academy student will be given a mentor to assess and monitor performance on the course, as well as a ‘buddy system’ to give added informal support, experience and insights. Upon completion of the course, trainees will be awarded full SYSPRO certification, further advanced training and the opportunity to start a career with the company.
NexSys Managing Director Cathie Hall explained: “We’re looking to give bright young people the opportunity to pursue a fantastic career path. Something that every industry is facing is a lack of skills and many young people often bemoan the lack of options available to them when it comes to gaining real life work experience. The NexSys academy solves both issues. It allows us to give young people an exciting introduction to business systems consultancy and the SYSPRO ERP product itself, while ensuring that we always have the highest quality of skills and experience in our business for the long term.”
NexSys has confirmed that it is looking to recruit two students to the academy in January 2015, a further two in July 2015 and two more in September 2015 for the academy pilot. Interested participants are being advised to send their CV to nexsys.info@k3btg.com, or call 0161 876 4498 for further details of the course.
