Samuel Heath & Sons plc is investing in a new manufacturing, financial and distribution system from Manchester-based K3 Business Technology Group (K3).
The world-famous manufacturer of bathroom fittings and architectural hardware will use the new business system to streamline the manufacture and distribution of thousands of product lines each week to its retail clients.
The fully integrated SYSPRO Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution replaces the company’s existing UNIX technology and will help drive efficiency improvements across manufacturing, distribution and accounts. SYSPRO will integrate easily with the company’s other Microsoft Windows-based software and is expected to provide Samuel Heath with a boost in productivity as the system will reduce administration time significantly.
The new ERP system will unify existing back office systems to provide a single, centralised database. This will ensure that all information is accessible at a click of a button instead of having to search various systems to get the answers.
“Implementing SYSPRO ERP will be a major step forward for Samuel Heath. The new software will provide an advanced and easy to use Windows-based business system that fits in well with the way we operate. SYSPRO is a perfect match for supporting the way we want to work and will help us drive out waste.” Nigel Titley, IT Manager, Samuel Heath.
