Well done to the latest K3 employees who have been out fundraising recently and raising money for some great causes – Macmillan Cancer Support and Help for Heroes.
Last month Kieren Beaton, NexSys Account Manager took part in Stratford’s Big 10km Run and completed the course in just 61 minutes. Thank you to those of you that sponsored her, she managed to raise a fantastic £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Well done Kieren!
Aaron Wilcock, NexSys Technical Consultant braved the ‘Tough Mudder North West’ a couple of weeks ago. For those of you not familiar with the event, the Tough Mudder is a 12 mile obstacle course and includes running with heavy logs, crawling through tubes under electric shocks, jumping into skips of ice, walking through fire (sounds lovely!)….and of course as the name suggests, getting completely covered in mud. Aaron and his team raised over £1,000 for Help for Heroes – well done!
‘Although very bruised this was immense fun and as such am looking forward to conquering Tough Mudder London in April 2014’…. Many thanks for all the support and sponsorship for Help for Heroes, it helped spur me on even after mile 4 when I lost my shorts in the mud!
