NexSys joined in the worldwide celebrations of SYSPRO’s 35 years of continued product development last month. Throughout the last three and a half decades, the SYSPRO community of resellers, distributors and customers have experienced the constant innovation of SYSPRO which has enabled them to remain at the cutting edge of the ERP market.
Just this year saw the release of the SYSPRO App store, which provides add-on solutions to be shared within the SYSPRO community and enables customers to have access to a worldwide development community. The next SYSPRO release (version 7) will provide the new SYSPRO Espresso mobile solution giving users instant mobile access to SYSPRO from any location, at any time, on any device including iPads and touch screen devices. As users prepare themselves for the latest upgrades to SYSPRO in the next few months, the solution has come a long way since it began back in 1978. Over the last few years SYSPRO has provided an uninterrupted upgrade path from the old ‘green screen’ days to modern mobile devices, marking an industry first for the ERP market,.
Andy Latham, Managing Director of NexSys said: “Thirty five years ago the SYSPRO vision was born and has become one of the most successful ERP solutions available worldwide. We are proud to be delivering it to UK manufacturers and distributors and to help drive innovation in these industries.”
“The aims behind SYSPRO are still the same today as they were 35 years ago – to develop and deliver excellent ERP solutions for small and medium-sized manufacturing and distribution companies so they can improve the performance of their businesses, and we are still delivering on that pledge.”

Andy Latham said: “Our flexible approach allows us to tailor solutions to the needs of every business. We strive to pick the right solution for every individual customer. Just as SYSPRO itself has constantly reinvented itself over the last 35 years, we are constantly reinventing the methods we use to bring the solution to manufacturers and distributors throughout the UK.”
