At NexSys we are renowned for our annual Customer Events and 2024 proved to be a memorable occasion. On November 21st, NexSys customers and partners gathered at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium to learn more about how to raise their game with fit-for-purpose ERP+ solutions. The action-packed day provided an invaluable opportunity to keep abreast of the latest trends, debate hot topics, gain insight from expert speakers and network with peers.

In an uncertain economic climate, there has never been a better time to drive efficiencies and gain competitive advantage through digitalisation.
NexSys’s Managing Director Nick McGrane opened this year’s Customer Event by talking about the choice of venue. Manchester City, which has enjoyed a meteoric rise over the last few seasons due to a clear plan and commitment to continuous improvement. Nick encouraged all delegates to apply those principles to the world of business by raising their game through digital transformation.
For the last four decades, NexSys has supported the nation’s movers and makers success through the power of real time data. The Customer Event provided an ideal platform to showcase our offer and share best practice.
Guest speaker Major Scotty Mills inspired the audience by sharing stories and lessons he learned as a Royal Marines Officer. He talked about transforming teams through inspirational leadership. Delegates heard about how cultivating the right mindset can enhance team cohesion, support adaptability, and boost business performance.
SYSPRO CIO Kevin Dherman then took the stage to update delegates on the latest release of SYSPRO 8 2024. He discussed a range of enhanced capabilities including improved back office Automation through cognitive AI and document recognition, new enterprise asset management functionality and improvements to the quality management system with the addition of non-conformance and CAPA. He also took the floor to close the day off, sharing customers stories on of how SYSPRO’s AI engine is in use and how manufacturers can use disruptive technologies to embrace Industry 4.0.
The NexSys team also outlined how our own product innovations are alleviating customer pain points. Highlights include improvements to our system integration and automation tool DataSwitch, launch of facial recognition integration to Equator our Payroll, Time and Attendance solution as well as an answer to manufacturers with a service business arm through a new partnership with service management solution Service Geeni. Our commitment to continuous improvement ensures that new product development remains a key strategic priority, and delegates had opportunities throughout the day to talk to the team about how NexSys solutions are evolving to meet their changing requirements.
Matthew Lawson Chief Operating Officer at Ribble wrapped up the morning with a customer presentation outlining the benefits of embracing ERP. His business is working with NexSys to put digital transformation at the heart of its strategy. That journey has already delivered significant benefits including allowing Ribble to build more bikes with fewer staff, drive efficiency in picking and respond far more effectively to customer queries.
Following a hearty lunch and invaluable networking time, the afternoon was spent discussing how to maximise ERP through a series of break-out sessions. People took the opportunity to learn more about Business Process Improvements, gain insight through customer success stories and hear how to make the most of solutions, such as SYSPRO Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM). Tips and tricks were shared by our Support Services Manager Clair Rohl reinforcing best practices that can be embedded in the business. Elsewhere, delegates engaged with each other in round tables discussing digitalisation and customisation. The event then came to a close with awards, drinks and additional networking opportunities.
