Accenture positioned as an EMEA Utilities Leader in latest IDC MarketScape report @Accenture_Util
The IDC MarketScape study assesses 13 of the leading SaaS and cloud-enabled Operational ERP software solutions and discusses the criteria the IDC MarketScape deems most important for companies to consider when selecting a system.
Mickey North Rizza, Program Vice President of IDC’s Enterprise Applications and Digital Commerce, stated, “The SaaS and cloud-enabled Operational ERP MarketScape is a comprehensive study evaluating several dimensions of a vendor’s performance over a multi-month process. IDC analysts not only review vendor RFIs, we interview some of each vendor’s customers, and do comparative side-by-side research. Operational ERP solutions are a large spend of many companies’ budgets, and this is a tool to help match the right vendor to your business.”
The IDC MarketScape notes “SYSPRO is single-source industry-built, end-to-end ERP system that provides an out-of-the-box flexible, reliable, customisable, and scalable solution for manufacturing and distribution companies.” The specific SYSPRO strengths are stated as follows in the report:
- Training, Support & Automation: A key philosophy and approach to customer service and support is to empower customers through knowledge and access to tools to enable them to self-help. This includes SYSPRO Learning Channel (SLC) which provides tutorials; self-paced on-line learning and associated Role-based certifications. It also includes bots within applications that direct users and explain the necessary processes to follow.
- UI, Mobile and Web based Interface: SYSPRO is easy to use, simple to understand, intuitive, engaging and always available. The focus on user experience means the software is straightforward and easy to customise for a user’s specific role and business process. Espresso, the mobile offering, provides access to manufacturing and business processes and data on the go. It enables SYSPRO customers to use applications that will work anywhere, anytime, on any popular device, providing instant and secure access to key business information. SYSPRO’s web based interface, Avanti, with its consistent user interface, uniquely gives customers the same SYSPRO ERP user experience through a web browser on any device, without having to learn a different operating system.
- Social ERP: Recognising that next generational users interact with technology (and their peers) differently, SYSPRO built in a socially sensitive and aware set of workflow-enabled digital ERP capabilities. These capabilities allow for users to engage with their systems in a familiar manner as they would in engaging their social media platforms
SYSPRO has been recognised as a manufacturing industry leader by several IT analyst firms and is considered by many to offer a rare combination of both leading-edge technologies plus exemplary customer service. “At SYSPRO we understand that ERP is one of the most important decisions a manufacturer or distributor will make to grow their business and achieve greater profitability,” said Paulo de Matos, Chief Product Officer at SYSPRO. “It has always been our aim to be a true partner to our customers, and we have invested in very sophisticated training, information access, and ongoing support conduits to ensure that our technology is not only first rate, but highly rated and appreciated by our customers.”
